"I'm very impressed with the strength and quality of these beds. Everything came well packed and parts were easy to organize. Assembly was fairly simple with the help of my teenage son. I would recommend you have a rubber mallet and a cordless screwdriver on hand, you will need it. The end result is a very hansom well designed and ruggedly constructed bed. I'm very happy with my purchase and the caring customer support I have received. 5 STARS!"

This would have been a 5 star rating except for a few issues that came up: we weren’t notified that there were 3 boxes with 1 box arriving a week later - then one piece was missing. After 3 to 4 phone calls it was finally resolved. Even with the delays and the missing piece we would still highly recommend this bunk bed as it is exactly what we were hoping for in terms of quality and durability. The customer service people were always polite and earnest in resolving the problems for us."
"While I think the bed is solid the latter is way to narrow for an adult body to climb up. Knowing what I know now, I wish i choose the step option . I think your description needs to disclose how narrow the ladder is and offer insights that compare the benefits and limitations of the ladder vs having stairs."
"We bought two sets of Olympic style XL over XL. They’re very well built, look great and assembly was straight forward (but took a bit of time for two sets!). One bed was slightly damaged in shipping, but customer service was excellent to resolve it. We bought these for our vacation home to not only utilize for our grandkids, but also adults (guys semi annual outings for fishing). Our only disappointment is that the opening for the ladder access to the upper bunk is too narrow for a medium/large adult. It works, but considering the high weight capacity they’re designed for, a minor widening of the ladder access would be much more comfortable (and safer), and change this review to five stars for sure."
