"The bed is sturdy and fairly tall. My daughter loves it. We can both get on it with no issues. I added a bunkie board and pushed it to the corner of her room. I was able to assemble it alone but would definitely advise having help. The bed will shake if it isn’t against a wall but thats the case with most loft beds that don’t have diagonal pieces on the corners. The only con is that it reaaaaaally smelled like chemicals at first."

"It seems pretty sturdy but a few of the pieces had some noticeable dents. This seemed to be caused by lack of cushioning material on one side of the box. We were able to assemble the bed in a way that kept damaged parts against a wall, so it isn’t noticeable in our room. Just disappointing. This is also one of the more frustrating furniture assemblies I’ve done. The instructions were clear enough, it’s just the method of assembling the loft bed frame was very difficult for two people."

"I wouldn't say this is the sturdiest bed but seems to be good for my 10 year old and he loves it. The top rails have a bit of a gap so I drilled long screws in to make it more secure. Would loved to have gotten an espresso stained option."
